Django Reinhardt with the Duke Ellington Orchestra: Live and Electric

Django Reinhardt performed very rarely in the United States, and even more rarely using an electric guitar. This recording captures Django with the backing of the Duke Ellington Orchestra, in a live concert in 1948. Close listening reveals the band shouting encouragement as the set goes along.
