The Jazz Heritage Society began making new recordings to be sold via JHS and the Musical Heritage Society in 1980, and produced over 150 fine recordings, featuring jazz lions like Dave Brubeck, Duke Ellington, Benny Carter, Peggy Lee, Stanley Turrentine, Cedar Walton and Freddie Hubbard.
