Collection: DICK HYMAN - HIS JAZZ HERITAGE SOCIETY CATALOG

Throughout a busy musical career that got underway in the early '50s, Dick Hyman has functioned as pianist, organist, arranger, music director, and composer. 

Dick Hyman's Jazz Heritage Society recordings - 15 in all - are tributes to the great American songbook's composers. Solo recitals are dedicated to Cole Porter, Richard Rodgers and his collaborators Oscar Hammerstein and Lorenz Hart, Harold Arlen, George Gershwin. He also performs on several live recordings, including The Birth of Rhapsody in Blue, Benny Goodman's "Benny" and The Kingdom of Oop-Bop-Sh-Bam, live from the 92nd Street Y.
