This Dick Hyman solo set features the brilliant pianist interpreting 11 songs written by Cole Porter. In addition to such famous tunes as "Easy to Love" (which is really explored during a 10½-minute version), "Begin the Beguine" and "Night and Day," Hyman revives three fairly unknown numbers from "Kiss Me Kate": "Were Thine That Special Face," "Brush Up Your Shakespeare" and "Wunderbar." All of Dick Hyman's solo recitals are well worth acquiring.
