Some of the richest and most beloved heritage we enjoy from our Western Civilization are the miniature musical gems produced by composers of all ages from the Season of Christmas. Cherished by every musician and music lover, this great literature has brought joy, peace, and promise to the heart of man for countless centuries. Inspired by the profound human emotions which were sparked by the Divine Hope of the birth of the Christ-child, composers of every century have been moved to unique heights of creativity in their production of music for this special Season. At the core of this great body of music, indeed, some of its most delicate and carefully wrought works, are those composed for organ and choir. It is our desire here to present a few of these works, as interpreted by Colorado State University's Chamber Singers, the CSỦ Brass Choir, and played upon University's glorious Casavant Organ.
