John Sebastian is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist, harmonicist, and autoharpist. He is best known as the founder of the Lovin’ Spoonful and his impromptu performance at the Woodstock festival in 1969. He made several recordings for the MusicMasters label in the 1990s, with guest appearances on albums featuring Al Kooper and Johnnie Johnson. And his father, John Sebastian, Sr, also has a series of recordings on Musical Heritage Society, as perhaps the 20th century's finest harmonica soloist.
